Black longline blazers have always been a classic staple in my wardrobe. This smart piece fits well in any situation and can be styled casually or done up to be more fancy. This season I have been non-stop wearing this closet essential and I wanted to show you some options for a versatile look. In my outfits, I wore a Madewell longline blazer (similar here) that I got years ago, but that just goes to show how this classic piece will last in your wardrobe forever. Below, I also put together a shopping list with some of my favorite and classic black longline blazers!
Option 1: Smart Casual
In my opinion, smart casual is one of the hottest looks this season. A longline blazer will instantly make you look smart and put together, even if that may not always be the case😅 This option usually has a base that consists of something super laid back and casual. The base of the outfit can honestly be whatever you’d like. It would also look great with even a simple graphic tee and blue jeans as well! In my case, I wore a clean white tee and a ruffle houndstooth printed skirt. I kept a monochromatic and minimal color scheme to hold an “off-duty” vibe.

Option Two: Confident and Chic
This look is definitely for those who love to venture out of their “fashion bubble.” Unlike the first option, this outfit doesn’t need a base at all! All you need for this look are three key pieces. A blazer, a belt, and ANY accessories that makes you look confident! I wore my thick Chanel Gabrielle belt that was perfect to cinch in my waist and create a shape. I then kept most of my previous accessories from the first look, but swapped my shoes for something that would bring me more height.
